A downloadable game

I've been playing Brian Walker's amazing Brogue for a while and am a game developer myself and I've made a few small changes to Brogue that make the game a little more interesting to me, and a little more community-playable.

The changes are:

- Added a daily mode to the main menu

- Made it so that forming a telepathic bond with an ally informs you of that creatures name

- Made it so that potions always tell you their polarity even before being identified.

I know that the last change is probably sacrilegious, but I felt like saving up all my potions for floor 3 and then downing them all till I got a potion of detect magic just wasn't a very interesting process. Having potion polarity identified for you makes the early floors a lot more fun and more interesting (in my estimation) because you still don't know what every potion does, and you end up throwing quite a lot of bad potions around even before you'd actually want to because otherwise your inventory fills up. It doesn't really make the lower levels any easier because by that point you'd have the potions identified for you anyway.

These are the compiled versions for mac/win/linux.

On macOS Catalina I get an error trying to open the Mac build:

BrogueCE+HR cannot be opened because of a problem.

> Check with the developer to make sure BrogueCE+HR works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.

Based on the garbage dumped in Console.app, it looks like it's trying to access a file on the disk that it isn't allowed to access without some kind of entitlement.

I assume this happens because Apple is being crappy and I'm sorry it's affecting you. :-(

You can get in touch with me on Twitter at @irskep if you want more information.
